Props

Drawing on a vast range of skills, from blacksmiths to poly carvers, to fibre glassing and upholsters, We have been lucky enough to have worked on the weird and wonderful.

With a background as a Blacksmith, we are able to produce sword blanks in our CNC profiler and then give them a rustic look through various more traditional methods and the addition of fine hilts and cross-guards, these prop swords look great on stage and on camera. For close up work, finer detailing can be punched and chased, and various finishes can be applied to give the patina required.

Metalwork

Working with an excellent team of engineers, drawing on many years of practical industry experience solving both staging and fit-out problems.

With excellent facilities, including lathes, rolling machines, MIG and TIG welding, and CNC profiling we are able to produce almost anything- from general fabrication through to bespoke installations. With the addition of the traditional timber machinery and skills associated, we can ensure accurate and detailed cladding. We relish even the trickiest of design problems.

CNC Plasma Profiling

Coming soon is a CNC Plasma, we’re hoping it will change the way Clockwork produces its products. It will allow for both intricate fretwork, and heavy industrial components to be made accurately, in a cost effective way. The great thing about it is that the most boring of castor plates, or pulley blocks can be manufactured with intricate twists, both adding to the ease of automation and to design realisation.

With a nod to the traditional and a wink to the more modern laminates and polycarbonates, we can realise your concepts with the finest of finishes.

From timber flattage, to doors and floors, to windows to treads, timber cladding adds a level of detail to every set we build. We utilise both the traditional methods and the more modern cnc profilers enabling a great finish within the timeline specified.
